This package provides information on the general health status of children.

Here is a brief description of the tests contained in this package:

Alanine Transaminase(ALT), Aspartate Aminotransferase(AST), Albumin and Bilirubin

They are tests done to determine the function of your liver. They are used to detect liver infections (e.g. hepatitis B & C), and to monitor the side effects of certain medications known to affect the liver

Full Blood Count (FBC)

A full blood count (FBC) is a very common clinical procedure and often the ‘starting point’ for most medical investigations. FBC not only tests for disorders and abnormalities of the blood but, as blood travels throughout the whole body, it can give an indication of disease present in other organs.

Urine Routine and Microscopy(Urinalysis)

The urinalysis is a set of screening tests that can detect some common diseases. It may be used to screen for and/or help diagnose conditions such as a urinary tract infections, kidney disorders, liver problems, diabetes or other metabolic conditions, to name a few. It can detect abnormalities that might require follow-up investigation and additional testing.

Stool Examination

It is a test that involves the collection of stool(faeces) to detect the presence or absence of a medical condition.
